Anzac Day

ANZAC Day is a day on which we remembered Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

ANZAC DAY 2016

We held our Annual ANZAC Day service in front of the Wagait Shire Council Cenotaph.  Thank you to all the volunteers involved who dedicated their morning to help set up for the ceremony.  It was a great pleasure to once again have our Chaplain, Major Ian Dawson return.  Thank you to the children who distributed the ANZAC biscuits and the Order of Service to the crowd.

Below are some of the images from this event.

COMMEMORATION OF THE “MI-LADY” CRASH SITE 2015

The 100th year of the Anzac was marked with the commemoration at the crash site of the Milady at 8.30am in which approximately 30 people attended.  We thank Jack Ellis for organising this.
