Activities are usually held at the Community Centre but Yoga and Pilates are currently being held at Cloppenburg Park. Please check with Council or see our notice board.
AUSTRALIA DAY
2026
The 2026 Australia Day activities went off with a great start seeing many Wagait residents turning up for the FunRun.
Award recipients for Australia Day this year were:
Citizen of the Year - Doug Chalmers
Senior Citizen of the year - Jill Mumme
Young Citizen of the year - Skip Martin
Community Event of the year - Pickle Ball.
It was a beautiful wet day with the South Wagait crew taking out the competition for the day and let's not forget to mention that SOUTH WAGAIT also won the Tug-of-War again this year!!
